Taking care of clients first

My name is Leonardo De La Garza, but please call me Leo. I founded De La Garza Law, PLLC, to help protect and unite families who feel less and less secure in this anti-immigrant political world. I understand that the immigration process can be the most challenging and emotionally draining process a person will ever undergo. It is worth having the help of an experienced immigration attorney to get it right the first time.

As the son of a Mexican immigrant father and Chicana mother, I believe representing immigrants and their families is a way to give back to the community that raised me. That’s why I offer affordable, yet sophisticated, personalized legal representation. I take pride in standing side-by-side with my clients, meeting them where they are, guiding them out of the immigration maze and towards the next great phase of their lives.

HOW CAN I HELP YOU?

Family-Based Immigration

Your case may require a waiver, processing through a consulate abroad, or preparation for an interview with USCIS. I take great pride in representing individuals and families from the beginning to the end of the journey. Nothing brings me greater joy than seeing families united and keeping them that way.

Humanitarian Relief

Some laws and policies are meant to protect people who may not be able to protect themselves. Whether you're a student brought here as a child, a victim of a crime or trafficking, or you would just like to know whether you qualify for any special program, I'm here to help.

U.S. Citizenship

If you've already had a Green Card for a few years, you may now qualify to apply for U.S. Citizenship. Perhaps you already are a Citizen, but your children aren't Citizens? There are many good reasons to apply, but many potential problems that may arise. I truly enjoy helping persons become Citizens of this country.
